Jefferson City has two very different HVAC problems

The older neighborhoods around Capitol Avenue and up toward Moreau Drive are full of houses built long before central air was a given. Many got ducted later, awkwardly, and it shows: one room that never gets warm, a converted attic that's unusable in August, a finished basement that stays damp all summer. Retrofitting more ductwork into those houses is expensive and often doesn't solve it. Ductless is usually the better answer, and it's most of what we get called to do in that part of town.

Then there's everything newer, out toward Holts Summit, Wardsville and the subdivisions on the edges. Those houses have proper ductwork and conventional systems, so the work is straightforward replacement and service. If one of those systems is fifteen years old and starting to cost you, that's a planned job we're well set up for.

Either way, Jefferson City sits far enough off the river bluffs that summer humidity behaves differently than it does at the Lake. Systems here get judged on how well they pull moisture out, not just how cold they blow.
